Mr. Harms, the proprietor of the Kennels, has been breeding dogs much of his life. He has bred over 30 different breeds and been successful at them all. However, he will tell you, the Amstaff is by far his favorite. He says they have a way of embedding themselves in your soul, and I have to agree.
Macy Lou is part of the Grimloc Kennel lineage and displays traits that the kennel is known for. She is extremely affectionate, intelligent and loyal, not to mention being a damn good looking dog.
Mr. Harms is a die hard breeder and takes great pride in his "pack". Because of this, he is choosy about whom he places his dogs with and is fiercely opposed to anything negative in regards to this breed. He is fanatical about placing his dogs in loving, nurturing, homes and has a strikingly accurate 6th sense for determining the quality of prospective owners.
In my own experience, he has been a wealth of information with regards to dog training, care and behavior. As you can see by looking at his website, he has been breeding Amstaff champions for longer than I've been alive.
